This is nice. Professional looking but friendly and artsy at the same time.
I really like the colours and I have to say I really admire anybody who has a go at doing this - I've been ducking it for over two years! However, I am finding it just a tad too busy and I'm not sure about the name being repeated as I found I was losing it in disentangling the letters between the two.

It looks alot cleaner on my version on my computer. for some reason blogger adjusts the compression the jpg and looks really jaggered. :(
I think your right Katherine about the name i am finding that myself.
I love the colors and design. I do agree with Katheryn about the name being repeated, seems a little confusing visually. I also like the list of skills along the bottom. Really gives one a sense of what you, as far as the blog goes, are about. :)
I really like it but also agree about the title shadow being too distracting. LOVE the colours!
